OK, don't get me wrong I'm proabably the biggest Google Street View freak of all, but put out a "street view" feature where the resolution is no better than my own eyes on a drunk night out in San Diego is pretty weak. I mean, I was a little bummed at first when it was just a few select cities, some with decent resolution and some with sights as if I just put on my Grandmothers glasses but I got over it. Now to learn that not only are all the new locations going to be "cell phone camera quality" but to hear that the previous hi-resolutions were reduced to the same poor quality is defeating the WHOLE purpose of spending millions of dollars on a feature that doesn't live up to the name that it represents. And why, because a few people cried and moaned that there house, face, car or licence plate was exposed to the every day public that can see those same things anyway? If you feel I'm being a little harsh, well, sorry for you. I just dont feel you should market something that reduces itself in quality over time. After all, shouldn't things improve with time and experience?? I think that I'm a little frustrated that I get all excited about this Google feature then I learn It gets downgraded? I mean, film me, film my car, house, licence plate, what's the big deal... Who gives a S#%&!! Well, thank you for letting me vent. And as for the image I selected for this verbal bashing.....
