Actually it's an Australian real estate franchise, which also exists in New Zealand. But as if the company name itself weren't bad enough, they had to open a branch in Putaruru. And as if that weren't a bad enough combination of references to prostitutes, they had to put up a BIG sign visible from State Highway 1, as you drive through on your way across the country.

To make it even worse, the TV advert's jingle is a little girl saying "Thanks Mister Hooker", followed by "LJ Hooker, you're the one...."
